About the Project
Heathfield International School is an international school in Vientiane, Laos. After initially working with their existing WordPress website, I designed and developed a new custom site to create a faster, more modern experience that better reflected the school. The rebuild moved the site to Astro while preserving the flexibility needed for school content, news, and ongoing updates.
My Role
I worked with Heathfield for roughly a year and a half, beginning with maintenance of their existing WordPress site before taking on a full redesign and rebuild. I designed and developed the new Astro site, created reusable components, migrated and reorganized content, and continued supporting it after launch. My work also extended beyond the website, including teaching a multimedia club for students and creating occasional graphic design and marketing materials.
